Cambridge is normally an easy day trip from London, the train taking but one hour. Except when it's Sunday afternoon (reduced schedule already) and they cancel the first train because someone fell on the track, thenthe driver for the second train disappears without trace while the stationmaster frantically tries to find him before cancelling the train, and finally the third train goes somewhat delayed. British rail leaves a lot to be desired.
To be a student in one of these extravagantly luxurious colleges seems to be a privilege well worth paying for. Astonishing that people think they should be put up in such an environment at fully taxpayer's expense instead of paying tuition fees.
