About the cameras that I use

Currently I'm using the Sony Alpha A700 as my primary camera May 2008. It's an excellent unit, have been very pleased with it and its versatility and durability. I use three lenses, a Tamron 28-75mm as general purpose and low light lens, a Sigma 18-50mm as a wide-angle (which is the one I wind up using most), and a Sigma 70-300mm as a telephoto. I use this camera bag, which is convenient to fit everything without looking like a traditional boring camera bag.

For when I don't want to bring all the weight, and for underwater photos, I use a Sony DSC-W350 with a marine case. I like the Sony marine case because it supports multiple models of the same series - if you lose/ruin your camera you don't have to buy exactly the same unit, so you could have an easier time finding it secondhand.
